Discover this stunning and large Ancient Egyptian Faience Statuette of Sekhmet, measuring 11 cm in height and crafted with incredible detail. The front side of the Statuette depicts Nefertem on her Throne. In Ancient Egyptian art, Nefertem is usually depicted as a beautiful young man that represented both the first sunlight and the delightful smell of the Egyptian blue lotus flower, having arisen from the primal waters within an Egyptian blue water-lil; Nymphaea caerulea.

Sekhmet, the lioness-headed goddess, is depicted on the backside of the statuette, showcasing her fierce and powerful presence and was associated with war and healing in ancient Egyptian mythology.
